Why Update Your App? Keeping your app updated ensures you have the latest features, performance improvements, and important bug fixes, providing you with the best experience in the study.
Steps:
- Enable Automatic App Updates (Recommended):
- Setting up automatic updates ensures your app is always the latest version without you having to manually check.
- iPhone: Go to Settings > App Store. In the "Automatic Downloads" section, ensure "App Updates" is toggled On.
- Android: Open the Google Play Store. Tap your profile icon (usually top right), then Settings > Network preferences > Auto-update apps. Choose "Over Wi-Fi only" (recommended to avoid cellular data charges) or "Over any network".
- Manually Check for Updates:
- iPhone: Open the Apple App Store. Tap your profile icon (top right). Scroll down to see pending updates or check recently updated apps. If Onvive is listed with an "Update" button, tap it.
- Android: Open the Google Play Store. Tap your profile icon (top right). Tap "Manage apps & device". Under "Updates available," look for Onvive Study App and tap "Update."
Important Notes:
- You will need a Wi-Fi or cellular data connection to download updates.
- Occasionally, if an essential update is released, the app may display a message blocking access until the update is installed. This is to ensure you have critical fixes or features.
