Purpose: This article provides troubleshooting steps if the Onvive Study App is not displaying correctly on your phone, such as text or images appearing cropped, or elements being out of place.
Estimated Completion Time: 3-5 minutes
Possible Causes: Display issues can sometimes be caused by your device's screen magnification, text size settings, or in rare cases, specific device models that the app isn't fully optimized for.
Steps:
- Adjust your device's display/text size settings:
- The Onvive Study App is designed to display optimally at your device's default display and text size settings. Adjustments to these settings (like very large text or zoomed display) can sometimes cause elements within the app to appear incorrectly.
- iPhone:
- Go to Settings > Display & Brightness.
- To adjust magnification/display size: Tap View under DISPLAY ZOOM and select Standard (or "Default").
- To change Text Size: Tap Text Size and use the slider to set it to a medium or default size.
- Android:
- Go to Settings and search for "Font size" or "Display size".
- Use the sliders to adjust these back to their normal or default positions.
- Most Android phones offer a "Reset settings" option within these display menus to revert to original settings.
- Restart the Onvive Study App:
- Close the app completely and then reopen it. This can sometimes resolve temporary display glitches.
- iPhone: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or double-click the Home button), then swipe the Onvive Study App card upwards to close it.
- Android: Swipe up from the bottom, hold, then release to see open apps. Swipe the Onvive Study App card upwards or tap "Clear all" or "Close all apps".
- Restart your device: A full device restart can clear temporary system issues that might affect app display.
- Check for app updates: Ensure your Onvive Study App is running the latest version, as updates may include display optimizations and bug fixes.
