Purpose: This article provides troubleshooting steps if the Onvive Study App gets stuck on a loading screen and does not open completely.
Estimated Completion Time: 3-5 minutes
Requirements:
- The Onvive Study App installed on your smartphone.
- A stable internet connection.
Steps:
- Check your internet connection:
- The app needs a stable internet connection to load initial content and sync data. A poor connection can cause it to get stuck.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi is strong or your cellular data is active.
- Try opening a web page or another app that requires internet to confirm your connection.
- Force Close and Reopen the App:
- This is often the quickest way to resolve a temporary loading issue.
- iPhone: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or double-click the Home button), then swipe the Onvive Study App card upwards to force close it.
- Android: Swipe up from the bottom, hold, then release to see open apps. Swipe the Onvive Study App card upwards or tap "Clear all" or "Close all apps".
- After force closing, wait a few seconds, then tap the Onvive Study App icon to reopen it.
- Restart Your Device:
- If force closing doesn't work, a full device restart can sometimes clear system-level issues affecting app loading.
- Turn your smartphone completely off, wait about 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Check Device Storage Space:
- Insufficient storage can prevent apps from loading properly. Ensure your device has enough free space (ideally 300MB or more).
- iPhone: Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
- Android: Go to Settings > Storage or Settings > System > Storage.
- Check for App Updates:
- An outdated version of the app might have bugs preventing it from loading.
- Visit your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store), search for "Onvive Study App," and install any available updates.
